About the factory and the sales desk

iLamp Technology (Shenzhen iLamp Technology Co., Ltd, 深圳市兰谱芯科技有限公司) makes outdoor string lights and LED filament bulbs in Bao'an District, Shenzhen. That range is sold in English through this desk: quotation, sample, documents, inspection and shipment. Below is what the factory makes, what the desk does, and how to check both before your first order.

The factory

Who makes the products

Six product families, and where each one sits on the site.

The core of the range is LED filament bulbs and the outdoor string lights built around them, in the S14, G40 and ST38 bulb shapes. The same factory makes the decorative lighting sold beside them: solar strings, WiFi and RGBW strings, landscape and garden lights, table and floor lamps. Each of those is confirmed per model on enquiry.

Each string light carries the figures the factory prints for it: length, socket count and socket type, cable, inner-box size and weight. A bulb carries luminous flux, CRI, base and whether it dims. A lamp carries power, colour temperature, size and switch type. Every figure sits beside the model it belongs to, on that model's family page.

The desk

What the sales desk does

The desk is the English-language route to that factory. It does five things.

  • Quotation: you send the reference or the configuration you want; you get a price, the exact factory code it is quoted against, and the packing data for it.
  • Samples: an order starts with a sample, and the sample you accept is the one production is checked against.
  • Documents: the market documents for the model you are buying, requested from the factory and published here when received.
  • Inspection: third-party inspection is welcome on any order. Appoint your own inspector; the booking goes to the factory through the desk.
  • Shipment: the shipping terms, who books the freight and the documents that travel with the goods are set on your quotation.

Every enquiry runs through the desk, by WhatsApp or through the contact form. Custom lengths, socket counts, plug and cable options, private label and retail packaging are quoted the same way; the scope is on the OEM and ODM page.

How to read the product pages

Three kinds of figure, and what settles each

A figure on a product page is one of three things: the factory's own statement, something a document would show, or something your sample settles. Knowing which tells you what to confirm, and when.

Factory-stated

The factory's own figure

Specifications, socket counts, inner-box sizes and weights are printed as the factory gives them. Treat them as the starting point for your quotation and your sample check.

Published when it arrives

A document you can hold

Market documents are published as they come in, named by what they cover and the models they name. Until one is here, ask for it with your quotation.

Check on your sample

Settled by the goods

Plug and cable for your market, socket fit, colour temperature against your reference, dimmer behaviour: these are settled on the sample, before the production order.

Marks on the string lights. The factory states its string lights carry an ETL listing and CE and RoHS markings; the listing card, the declaration of conformity and the test reports are requested and will be published here when received. Until then, ask for them with your quotation and treat the marks as the factory's statement. What each market asks for is set out on the documents and certification page.
Verification

How to check the factory yourself

Four checks you can make yourself, before the first order.

Ask for the business licence

Ask for a copy with your quotation, and check that the company name on it reads Shenzhen iLamp Technology Co., Ltd (深圳市兰谱芯科技有限公司).

Ask for the document set

For the model you are quoting, ask for the ETL listing card, the declaration of conformity and the test reports, and check the model code on each one.

Order a sample first

An order starts with a sample, and the sample you accept is what production is checked against. Settle plug, cable, socket fit and colour temperature on it.

Book an inspection

Third-party inspection is welcome on any order. Appoint your own inspector; the booking goes to the factory through the desk.

The order sequence these checks sit in, from enquiry to shipment, is on the samples and ordering page.
